First Camping Trip? Here are some things you should bring!

Going camping for the first time is always exciting! There's so much to see, do and experience on your trip. However, without the right gear, you won't enjoy the trip as much as you can, so here are some essentials that you need to bring to enjoy your first camping trip.

Tent - Depending on how many people are tenting with you, I would recommend the TETON Sports Mountain Ultra 2-person tent. This tent is very durable and most definitely will last you a long time. This tent is also cheap compared to other tents. If you're tenting with more than 2 people, then I recommend finding a tent on the TETON Website, or by searching for them on Amazon.

Sleeping bag - Depending on the type of weather that you're going to experience on your trip, I recommend the ECOOPRO  sleeping bag for summer and the RIOYALO sleeping bag for winter.

Stove - Buying a stove is completely dependent on what you'll be eating on your trip. If you want to buy a nice stove that will last awhile without breaking the bank, I would recommend the Camp Chef Explorer 2-Burner Camp Stove. Although you'll have to buy (or bring) pans, pots, or a griddle to cook on it, it's still worth the price, and you can even buy a carrying bag to allow it to be portable!

Day Pack - If you're interested in buying a day pack that also has a hydration straw built into it, I recommend the LUNiDry Insulated Hydration Pack. Though small, this pack can hold 3 Liters of water while still having storage for other small items, such as a first aid kit.

Water Bottle - If you're going to be camping a lot, I recommend a Nalgene water bottle. These water bottles are extremely durable and are recommended by most other people who camp a lot. They also measure how much water is in them, so you can make sure you're drinking enough water throughout the day.

Headlamp - I recommend the Energizer Vision HD+ headlamp as it get many good reviews on Amazon. This headlamp lasts for a very long time, especially with the energizer batteries.

These are all the things beginner campers should buy. If you're looking for some more things that more advanced campers should buy, or some things that are not essential on your camping trip, but a recommended because they're nice to have, you can check out other posts on my blog at https://the-camping-guide.blogspot.com.
